Petersham is home to many people with German roots. Some are sent by their companies as ex-pats to London for a limited time, others have put down roots here permanently. Our community has existed since 1973, its foundation is closely related to the founding of the German School London (DSL), which is located in the immediate vicinity. Our community is characterized by families whose children attend the German School. We accompany many young people through the confirmation period. As a result, the community is very young and sociable. The cooperation with the German-speaking Catholic congregation and our hosting Anglican congregation is very close.
Unlike in Germany, the congregation is not financed by church tax funds, but by membership fees and donations.
If you would like to become a member, if you would like to participate in events or work in the parish, and if you would like to receive our quarterly parish letter, please contact the parish office or download the application for membership in the Petersham parish.
