Ein Abend mit Axel Scheffler und Alison Green, moderiert von Matthew Hollis zu ihrem Buch "Welcome - a book about friendship"

Join us for a special evening with Axel Scheffler, Alison Green, and Clementine Koenig (in support of the Three Peas Charity), moderated by Matthew Hollis

Axel Scheffler will discuss his work as an illustrator, his career, and his creative journey with Alison Green, his long-time publisher and the author of the text for his successful book Welcome, created in support of Three Peas. Founded ten years ago here at DSL, the charity is dedicated to supporting refugees who have been forced to flee their homes. A member of the charity will give a brief overview of their current projects.

The conversation between Axel and Alison will be followed by a Q&A session, which you are warmly invited to join. We are also delighted to offer you the opportunity to view an exhibition of Axel’s original illustrations from Welcome as a special highlight of the evening.

At the end of the event, Axel Scheffler and Alison Green will be available for book signings. Mr. Scheffler and we are committed to supporting independent local bookstores. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that only books purchased in advance by us from The Alligator’s Mouth in Richmond and offered for sale on the evening of the event will be eligible for signing.
